Protect Your Vehicle and the People In It
with Madico® Window Tint
According to the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, “Nearly 53% of skin cancers in the U.S. occur on the left, or drivers’ side, of the body.” Prolonged exposure to the sun’s rays can cause significant damage to your skin on several levels, which is why the right protection is so crucial.
Along with the rates of skin cancer development on the driver’s side of the body, the sun exposure you receive through a car window can harm your skin in other ways as well. When the New England Journal of Medicine compared the left and right sides of a long-time truck driver’s face, they found that the skin on his left side experienced accentuated thickening and wrinkling compared to his right side.
Our automotive window film can help prevent this—by protecting you from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays that enter through the driver’s side window. Our car window film tint blocks harmful UV rays from reaching your skin while also protecting your eyes from annoying glare. Our front and rear window tint products can protect you and your passengers from the sun as well as increase your overall comfort, from keeping the car interior cool to providing added privacy.
If you need trusted solutions for safer, more comfortable driving, our auto window tint is the ideal choice. With Madico, you get products that come with a manufacturer’s warranty and are recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation. You can rest assured that you’re getting long-term quality and protection.

FAQs
Questions? We’ve got the answers. Below are some of the most common questions about Madico’s automotive window films.
A. Yes. Accidents involving glass can create dangerous situations in both your car and your home by keeping shattered glass together, greatly reducing the chance of injury. While window film cannot entirely stop someone from breaking through a window or glass door, the thickness of the film makes it more difficult and time consuming to breach the glass.
A. Madico® provides its dealers with swatch samples of automotive window film in a wide range of shades and colors to facilitate customer selection. Our professional dealers’ role is to assist you in making a final selection. The one mandatory contribution they will make will be to ensure your final selection is in accordance with the state/province laws in which your vehicle is registered. So, in addition to reviewing our automotive window film products on this website, we highly recommend visiting our dealer directory to find a local authorized Madico dealer to spend time with to help make your window film selection.
A. When the sun hits glass that’s not protected with window film, a significant amount of the sun’s energy—about 90%—is transmitted through the glass. That’s where the heat comes from. To counteract that, installing window film on glass will block up to 80% of the sun’s energy. That means a whole lot less heat is getting through to you. The exact amount of heat absorption and reflectance of the film will depend on the type of film your professional installer recommends for your specific needs. Dyed films do not have metal and are considered non-reflective, and while they absorb solar energy, they’re not as effective at solar control because of their non-reflective property. On the contrary, metalized and nano-ceramic films provide solar absorption and reflectance—and much more solar control—with nano-ceramic film offering the highest levels of solar protection. These films block up to 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays.
